Hello beautiful blogger fam,How y'all doing this grand Tuesday? So I've been on leave for over a week now but been unable to write a thing still :-( Guess it's time to make a public call for guest post...please feel free to email me (oyinlohlarsobowale@yahoo.com) your creative writing and let's get this blog on a roller coaster mode 24/7. You git?
Okay back to biznez. Today I'll be sharing some personal lessons and thoughts I picked up from random books I've read over the years. Hope you find a word or two to guide you through life. Cheers amigos and amigas! E-hugs
So which quote was your favorite? Any you would love to share with other readers? Let's hear you...drop a line ;-)
I often wonder if our thoughts and feelings truly create our lives, or if this applies to everyone. Because most times it's our lives that actually birth our thoughts and feelings. Oh well, I still try to stay positive so I can send positive vibes out to the universe, so that I can get that back.
ReplyDeleteNice one!

your question is synonymous with the proverbial chicken and egg story, who came first? I'd side with the thoughts and feelings creating our lives though, although we only have thoughts and feelings by virtue of life, the quality and choices we make in life is highly dependent on how we feel or what we think about in life.
Waves first @ Thelma & Chrisyinks.
DeleteYou know what you said Thelma actually brought to mind the phase of childhood. As a child our life - experiences sure determine our thoughts and feelings but I think at certain age when we begin to understand what 'freewill' is then our thoughts and feelings come into play to determine our life. At what age that is, I don't know for sure but there are different beliefs that a child isn't held accountable for sin until say age 12 to 13 or so. I want to believe that's the period we understand what freewill is all about and from thence thoughts begin to shape lives.
Ok, I go with 1Peter 3:3. Not that I'm such a spiritual person but putting spirituality aside what are you made of aside your looks? That's to say "what's your content?
ReplyDeleteBabe, that's a toasting line right there! Guys when you want to woo a lady please ask her, 'what's your content'?
DeleteWow! Just wow!
ReplyDelete"The most important thing is about how you build the corners"
Now that one hit me like a lighting bolt.. hehehe Like Magun... Looking Deeper at it yeah Lola and considering how insignificant the corner of a wall is in comparison to the main wall.. that Quote tells a mighty story filled with wisdom... reading it yeah... It struck me how one wrong word.. One wrong Decision or one wrong accepted thought can destroy literally everything.. Wow! just wow!! Lola..
Thank you for that post Nne.. I have literally framed it and hung it inside the master bedroom of my heart... Just by my Bed.. **Winks.. Cheers Nne.. and the crowd goes... Ooooossssshheeey Turn uP!
Only few people will read and meditate. Beyond the walls you saw words. You saw actions, you saw decisions - I like that you were able to relate it with everything else. Asswear you are the smartest kid I know *hugs*
