Yesterday we buried a dear friend and sister

Today she would have been 32...

Last year I wrote and posted (this) on my blog about her

Wednesday 27/05 we hooked up to see someone; we had our usual chitchat albeit briefly. She dropped me off so I could make my way back to the office. We high-fived as our consciousness of LASTMA officials wouldn't let us linger at the bus stop(pedestrian bridge at Town planning) for hugs for long...
Friday 29/05 her soul and spirit left her body to be with the Lord
 
I haven't had strength to pray but a few songs have been on replay...my earbuds stuck in my ear. I hope the lyrics of these songs minister to someone else(no matter the challenges/mystery/confusion/dark cloud surrounding you right now). Even as we grieve, we take solace in the truth that our sweet Mayokun lived. She loved God truly. She loved all, genuinely like Christ did. I still wonder where all the strength came from for her. She cared and shared with people beyond her immediate and extended family. For me, this is some revival of some sort as my mind ruminates over her words written on her Facebook page, "Be heard, be felt, be remembered for good".

We heard your wisdom words pretty. So much I learned from you that can never be quantified. We felt your love, I sure did and thank God today you are remembered for good as you will always be. Sleep well my darling till we meet at Jesus' feet.
